According to a report on the Honolulu Advertiser’s web site and the Associated Press, CompUSA has been purchased. The buyer plans to sell or close the technology retailer’s 103 stores, including both Oahu locations, in early 2008.
CompUSA closed 126 stores earlier this year, but the company kept spiraling downward as Internet and big-box retailers stole market share.
Get ready for one whale of a sale!
