Bangalore chokes on its own infrastructure

Tech: Bangalore is falling apart. The region’s rapid growth has been fueled by US outsourcing of technical and IT positions. But the regional government has allowed traffic to choke the area’s infrastructure. Companies complain about brownouts and blackouts during the workday. When you put 6 milllion people and 2 million cars in one place, you have to build a city.
