Sports: I’m not sure who is the dumber group: Dallas Cowboys fans or the city of Arlington, which is close to approving a US$650 million Cowboys stadium with a retractable dome. God doesn’t have to watch the Cowboys all the time.

USA: Faced with days of political protests, New York City offers peaceful protesters discounts to shows and restaurants. It’s better than dogs and firehoses. Another fabulous Bloomberg idea, in the tradition of banning protest marches in Central Park. Bribe the masses! Let them eat cake!
