Way to confront the issue, board. “In a unanimous decision last night, the University of Hawai’i Board of Regents fired president Evan Dobelle and said he had been terminated ‘for cause.’ A firing for cause, unless successfully challenged in the litigation that is likely to follow, frees the university from paying out a $2.2 million severance package for Dobelle.”
